Olivier is native from Paris where he lived most of his life. He had a quite atypical professional experience. After obtaining a degree in Business Techniques, he decided to fulfill his national service (which was an obligation in France), in a charitable association called La Mie de Pain.
The purpose of La Mie de Pain is to assist the homeless people. It is still one of the most important associations in France. For one year period, Oliver would greet and help homeless people in their way to social rehabilitation. For Oliver this experience was very rewarding and edifying experience that will always stay in his heart.
Oliver then chose to turn his professional career to Information Technologies, he had discovered while his studies. In 2000 he joined Cap Gemini, a French IT company, where he received an IT and Windows 2000 administration training.
After 5 years in Cap Gemini as Technical support (3 years), Olivier desired new experiences. As he had always traveled extensively (China, Ecuador, Mauritania…), he longed to live abroad… direction Canada. After one year in Montreal he discovered Soleica, and is quickly drawn by its really particular and interesting purpose.
